Irv Levinson
Irv was a trial lawyer for 40 long years, appearing in courts throughout the United States, and internationally. He was admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, and numerous other courts. In court, Irv knew when to laugh, when to cry, and when to flee from the action. And then, happily, he took a hard right turn, and has spent the last seven years, training and performing as an improviser, actor, storyteller and writer of dramatic, comedic and musical sketches and stories. Irv is, if nothing, a dedicated recovering lawyer. He has been married for 48 years to the woman who occasionally stars in his stories. His years as a father and grandfather have also been filled with moments of joy, achievement and modest self-realization and learning. Irv still practices as an Arbitrator, Mediator, and as a periodic observer of life's changes, epiphanies and modalities of re-inventing himself when real change appears absolute necessary.
Irv will perform dramatic and comedic stories and song as a recovering lawyer, surviving forty years of Law Law Land’s challenges and surprises. His stories are true, but the names have been changed to protect the guilty!
