2nd & 4th Sundays of the Month
|
Join us every month to see how the sausage is made, as a local storyteller refines new work in a live performance environment.
Longer slots are hard to come by in this era of the five minute slam story, but Fresh Meat is a chance for performers to stretch out and experiment, and for listeners to delve more deeply into an individual's repertoire, process, and raw material.
You may hear an early version of an eventual solo show, a longer festival set, bits and pieces of several stories in progress, or the first attempt at a brand new tale. You might even be asked to share some thoughts and feedback with the performer!

Want to make a night of it? On second Sundays only,
Come early for our open mic, Do Not Submit Evanston.
List opens at 5:30, stories start at 6:00. Tell, or simply listen!
